Introduction
Each cloudHQ Gmail app (Save Emails as PDF, Email Templates, Email Tracker, MailKing and Auto Follow Up are some examples) is licensed per Gmail address. So the Gmail account where you use the app is the one that needs a license.
One address, one license
- Every Gmail address you use with a paid feature must have its own cloudHQ account with a subscription. Or the address needs a license given to it from a team subscription. This applies to Google Workspace addresses too.
- If one address buys a subscription, that subscription does not cover another address, even if you own both addresses.
Teams: add and distribute licenses
When you manage several people, one subscription with several licenses is the way to go, and then you hand those licenses out to your team. Check How to add licenses to an existing subscription and IT Admin: How to distribute licenses and invite users to join your cloudHQ team.
Which address is the license on?
Open My Account and sign in with the same email as your Gmail address. If a feature asks you to upgrade even though you paid, you’re probably signed in to a different Google account, or this address doesn’t have a license on it yet.

Backup and sync use a different rule
For backup, migration and sync a license is counted in a different way. See What is a user in cloudHQ Business Plan?
