Introduction
This guide explains how to set up and manage automatic BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) or CC settings for teams. Once the team is set up, the team leader (admin) can:
- Add or remove users
- Add, remove, or change users’ automatic BCC or CC rules
- Disable or enable users’ automatic BCC or CC rules
- Ensure the Chrome extension is installed on users’ Chrome browser
Let’s look at the benefits of using the Auto BCC feature for Gmail in a team setting:
- Centralized Billing: Billing for the team is combined into one account, simplifying finances.
- Administrative Control: A team manager or admin can set uniform BCC practices, making sure every email includes a copy sent to the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- User Assistance: Team admins can help members, especially those less tech-savvy, to set up their BCC settings correctly.
For example, in a sales team, Auto BCC by cloudHQ can automatically log every customer email into the CRM, helping track sales leads and manage customer relationships. This is great for those who might forget to add BCC manually, automating tasks to keep accurate communication records and boosting productivity.
