Migration for Hiver to cloudHQ Email and Label Sharing is super easy.
You just need to, re-org labels to have a hierarchical structure and then set up cloudHQ Label Sharing for labels you are already sharing with Hiver. cloudHQ will automatically catalog existing emails and labels.
STEP 1: Re-organize your labels to have a hierarchical structure
Hiver does not share sub-labels so they have a flat label structure. For example, this:
|-- Label 1 |-- Label 2 |-- Label 3 |-- Label 4 |-- Label 5 |-- ...
For cloudHQ, you should organize labels to have a hierarchical structure:
|-- Shared Labels | | | |-- Label 1 | |-- Label 2 | |-- Label 3 | |-- Label 4 | |-- Label 5 | |-- ...
- Create a label called Shared Labels
- For each of top level labels (for example, Label 1, Label 2, etc.) which were shared with Hiver, change parent label:
Here is some support notes explaining how to organize your labels and sub-labels:
STEP 2: Share top-level label(s) with your team
After you have re-organized labels to have the hierarchical structure you can share the top-level label (in this example that is Shared Labels). cloudHQ will automatically catalog existing emails and labels.
If you have a large team size and your Google Workspace admin, then we suggest setting up everything from the cloudHQ admin console as described here.
On the other hand, for small teams, you can share labels using our web interface or via our Google Chrome browser extension as described here.
