The signatures on your mobile phone are stored on Google servers – your Gmail app will load them when you send an email. Email Signature Generator by cloudHQ will automatically save signatures when you click on the Save Signature button.

However, cloudHQ might not be able to save signatures for your aliases.

If cloudHQ can’t save signatures via Google API, you can still manually save them through the Gmail web interface. Here’s how to do it:

  1. First, copy your signature to your clipboard.
  2. Open Gmail using this link: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?cloudHQ_allow_manual_signature_update=true#settings/general. Ensure ?cloudHQ_allow_manual_signature_update=true is in the URL.
  3. Scroll to the Signature section and click Create new.
  4. Enter your Gmail alias as the signature name (e.g., alias_email_address@gmail.com) and click Create.
  5. Paste the copied signature text.
  6. Select your Gmail alias from the dropdown menu:
  7. Select the signature name from step 4
  8. Scroll down and click Save.
  9. To test your signature on mobile, open the Gmail app and send an email from your alias (e.g., alias_email_address@gmail.com).
