Clicking the Insert Template button brings up a pop-up window. This interface offers a variety of templates to insert into your email. It consists of several tabs: Free Templates, Team Templates, MailChimp, HubSpot, and GmailDrafts. For example, if you select the MailChimp tab, and if the MailChimp Templates in Gmail extension is not installed in your browser the following window will appear:
You’ll need to install a chrome extension to access your Mailchimp templates. When you click on button Install MailChimp Templates in Gmail by cloudHQ you’ll be redirected to Chrome Web Store.
- In Chrome Web Store click the button Add to Chrome as shown on the screenshot below:

The modal window will appear in your browser with following question: “Add MailChimp Templates in Gmail by cloudHQ?“. You should click the button Add extension as shown on the screenshot below:

Once you’ve installed the extension in your browser, navigate to Gmail and click Compose. Then, select the Insert Template icon and choose the MailChimp tab from the modal window. When you click on button above you’ll be redirected to MailChimp login page as shown on the screenshot below:

The Login Verification page could be open. To continue logging in, we need you to complete requested steps as shown on the screenshot below:

You need to copy and paste the code you received from MailChimp into the Verification Code field as shown on the screenshot below:

When you’re logged into Mailchimp, click the Insert Template button, a pop-up window appears, showcasing a range of templates to embed in your email. The interface is divided into several tabs: Free Templates, Team Templates, MailChimp, HubSpot, and GmailDrafts. By choosing the MailChimp tab, for instance, you’ll see MailChimp templates displayed, and you can select your desired template as shown on the screenshot below:

Once you’ve installed the Gmail Templates extension by cloudHQ, you can seamlessly incorporate MailChimp templates into your Gmail. To add a template, simply open a new message and click the Insert Template icon in the composer toolbar. This will present a variety of template options, from Free and Team choices to integrations like MailChimp, HubSpot, and GmailDrafts; selecting MailChimp will prompt an installation if its extension hasn’t been added yet.
