Introduction

The email parsing editor of Export Emails to Google Sheets has a feature that allows the saving and loading of customized parsing parameters. This helps users duplicate the same rules across different jobs and emails.

For example:
Let’s say you’ve been working on an email analysis project, interpreting customer feedback emails for a specific product. You’ve invested a significant amount of time in perfecting the parsing parameters to accurately interpret the sentiment, keywords, and category of the issues addressed in these emails.

A few weeks later, you’re assigned to another project that is similar in nature – analyzing feedback emails for a different product. Given the likelihood of these emails following a similar structure to the previous ones, there’s no need to redefine the parsing parameters from the beginning.

With the “save and load customized parsing parameters” feature, you can swiftly load your previously defined parsing rules, making it easy to adapt them to the current project with only minor revisions required. This not only saves time but also ensures consistency when interpreting similar email structures.

How to Save Parsing Rules

To save your parsing rules, navigate to the parsing editor and click on the Export button situated at the top right corner.
