Where do I find the button to attach or share cloud files?
Start a new email in Gmail. Look in the compose window for the Attach Cloud Files button. Click that button, then pick Attach Files or Insert Share Links.
Which cloud storage services can I use?
The services you can pick from are Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, OneDrive Business, SharePoint, Box, Evernote, Egnyte, Amazon S3, Yandex Disk, Cloud Drive and WebDAV. The first time you use a service, connect it through the Add Account link in the file window.
Can I attach or share a whole folder?
You can only attach files. An entire folder can’t go into an email as an attachment. Some services let you create share links for folders, others only let you do this for files. If yours supports folders, click Insert Share Links and pick the folder you want to share.
Do I need a cloudHQ account?
Yes, you do. When you click the button for the first time, a dialog pops up and asks you to create a cloudHQ account or log in, then to authorize Gmail. The extension can’t open your cloud files without that.
The dialog does not open or stays empty. What can I check?
If an ad blocker, Ghostery or another extension like that is running, add both cloudhq.net and mail.google.com to its allowed list. After that, reload Gmail and click the button once more.
Is it free?
Yes. You can use Share and Attach Files in Gmail for free with our Basic plan for one user. A Premium plan is available too. Here is what both plans give you: attaching files from your cloud storage, inserting share links to files and folders, full Gmail integration, and no cloudHQ signature.
