Google is one of the rare online services that allows users to be simultaneously logged into multiple accounts (identities) in the same browser session.

For example, in the same browser session, you can be logged in as bob@acme.com and as bob@gmail.com.

On the other, cloudHQ does not have this feature. You can be logged in only as one user. So if you are logged into Google as both user 1 and user 2, but you are in cloudHQ logged in as user 1, then cloudHQ will get confused.

The solution for this problem is to create a separate Google Chrome profile for each of your Google accounts. Each Google Chrome profile should be logged in to only one Google account.

In short, the Google Chrome browser setup should follow the following rule:

one Google Chrome profile == one Google account == one cloudHQ account

Here is how to set up several Google profiles:

  1. Create a separate Google Chrome profile for each of your Google Apps accounts. You will need to create different profiles (depending on the number of profiles you have) e.g. user_1 and user_2. Some instructions are here: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142059?hl=en.
  2. Then you will have these profiles listed inside Google Chrome to switch users:

  3. Each of these profiles will be logged into one Google account and one cloudHQ account.
Profile user_1 will be logged in into Google Gmail only as user_1 and logged into cloudHQ as user_1
Profile user_2 will be logged in into Google Gmail only as user_2 and logged into cloudHQ as user_2:chrome extension
