How to share PDFs created by Webpage to PDF in cloudHQ

cloudHQ’s Website to PDF (also shown as Save Webpage to PDF) lets you share saved PDFs with others. You can share a PDF in two ways:

  • Share by email (send the PDF link to specific people)
  • Share using a secure link (copy a link that anyone can use to download the PDF)

Before you start

  • Sign in to your cloudHQ account.
  • Make sure you have already created at least one PDF using Website to PDF.

Open the Share page for a PDF

  1. Open the Website to PDF dashboard:

    https://www.cloudhq.net/main_website_to_pdf/
  2. In the Saved PDFs list, find the PDF you want to share.

  3. Click the Share icon

    (person-with-plus) next to the PDF.

    This opens the Save Webpage to PDF – Share page, where you can share by email or with a secure link.

Share a PDF by email

Use this option when you want to send the PDF link to specific people.

  1. On the Share page, locate Share with people.
  2. In the email field, enter one or more email addresses.

    • To add multiple recipients, separate email addresses with commas.
  3. (Optional) Enter a note in the Message box.
  4. Click Send.

Use this option when you want to paste a download link into chat, a document, or another tool.

  1. On the Share page, scroll to the Get link section.
  2. Click Copy to copy the secure link.
  3. Paste the link wherever you want to share it.

Important: Anyone who has the secure link can download the PDF.

Unshare a PDF (revoke access)

If you want to stop sharing a PDF, use the Unshare option. Unsharing invalidates all previously shared links.

  1. Open the PDF’s Share page (click the Share icon next to the PDF).
  2. Scroll to the Unshare section.
  3. Click Unshare.

Note: Unsharing will make all existing shared links and previously sent emails with shared links invalid.

Tips and notes

  • Choose the right sharing method:

    • Use Share by email to send the PDF link to specific recipients.
    • Use Get link when you want a quick link to paste into another tool.
  • Security reminder: Treat secure links like passwords. Only share them with people you trust.
  • Can’t access the dashboard? Make sure you are signed in to cloudHQ, then try again.
