Introduction

Email GIFs by cloudHQ is a browser extension (for Chrome and Edge browsers) that lets you search and insert GIFs and stickers directly into your Gmail emails with a single click. Powered by KLIPY, it gives you instant access to thousands of trending, categorized, and searchable GIFs and stickers — all without leaving your inbox.

This browser extension works directly inside Gmail — no extra software needed. A small GIF button appears in the Gmail compose toolbar and opens a picker panel right where you write your emails. There is nothing new to learn and no separate app to
open. It fits naturally into your existing email workflow.

Install and Usage

Install the browser extension Email GIFs by cloudHQ.
Once installed and your account is created, you can start inserting GIFs into your emails:
1. Go to Gmail and click Compose to start a new email (or open a reply).
2. Click the GIF button in the compose toolbar to open the GIF picker panel.
3. Search for a GIF by keyword, or browse trending and categorized content.
4. Click on any GIF or sticker to insert it directly into your email at the cursor position.
5. Continue composing your email and send as usual. The GIF will appear inline for your recipient.

Searching and Browsing GIFs

The GIF picker panel provides several ways to find the perfect visual content for your email:

Search by keyword: Type any keyword into the search bar to find GIFs related to your topic. For example, search “congratulations”, “thank you”, “funny”, or “thumbs up” to find relevant GIFs instantly.
Browse trending content: The picker shows trending GIFs so you can quickly grab popular and timely visuals without searching.
Browse by category: Categories make it easy to discover content for any mood or occasion — celebrations, reactions, greetings, and more.
Last search remembered: The extension remembers your last search, so if you close the picker and reopen it, you can pick up right where you left off.

All GIFs and stickers are powered by KLIPY, providing a large and constantly updated library of visual content.

Using Stickers

Beyond animated GIFs, Email GIFs also gives you access to a library of stickers. Stickers are static or lightly animated visuals that add fun and expression to your emails without the file size of full GIF animations.

Managing Settings

Enable or disable per account: You can enable or disable the extension for specific Gmail accounts through the settings menu. This is useful if you want GIFs available on your personal account but hidden on a work account.
Preferences saved across sessions: Your settings are saved and remembered, so you do not need to reconfigure each time you open Gmail.
Pin to Chrome toolbar: For quick access, click the Extensions icon in Chrome, find Email GIFs, and click the pin icon. The extension will appear permanently in your toolbar for easy access to settings.
