The Data Processing Amendment is meant for businesses established in the territory of a member state of the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or that, for other reasons, are subject to the territorial scope of the national implementations of Directive 95/46/EC.

cloudHQ offers a data-processing amendment and model contract clauses as an additional means of meeting the adequacy and security requirements of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union Data Protection Directive.

Access to the data-processing amendments and model contract clauses is available in the accounts section. Business Plan admins account can review the Data Processing Amendment and EU Model Contract Clauses and accept it if they so choose. Once accepted, it is possible to review the contents of the accepted amendment.

Acceptance of the Data Processing Amendment and EU Model Contract Clauses is optional and does not affect the functionality of cloudHQ in any way.
