Here are short instructions for how to setup a two-way sync between Microsoft 365 SharePoint Document Library and a Dropbox folder.

Office 365 SharePoint Preparation

You can authorize your Microsoft 365 SharePoint by going to Cloud Accounts tab and clicking on the Microsoft 365 SharePoint icon.

NOTE:
If you need to sync all metadata like creation time and file ownership into SharePoint then you will need also to authorize Microsoft 365 domain. The instructions on how to that are here: How to install cloudHQ to your Microsoft 365 (Office 365) domain

Create Sync Pair

Here is how you can create a sync pair between Microsoft 365 Sharepoint and Dropbox:

  1. Start the synchronization wizard to sync two cloud accounts.
  2. Click the Microsoft 365 SharePoint icon:
  3. Select an already-configured Microsoft 365 SharePoint account or click the Add Microsoft 365 SharePoint to add a new Microsoft 365 SharePoint account
  4. Select the Microsoft 365 SharePoint Document Library and folder to sync.
    1. The first level are Microsoft 365 SharePoint sites and sub-sites.
    2. The second level are Microsoft 365 SharePoint Document Libraries.

    3. The third level and below are Microsoft 365 SharePoint folders.
    4. If you cannot find Microsoft 365 SharePoint library click on the Search or Enter Site URL button.

    5. Click the Dropbox icon.
    6. Select an already-configured Dropbox account or click Add Dropbox to add a new Dropbox account
    7. Select I’d like to sync an existing folder, then click the Next button.
    8. Select Dropbox folder, then click the Next button
    9. Select your options. Synchronization will start automatically.
    10. The synchronization status will display after the initial synchronization.
