Introduction
Here are instructions to add multiple Dropbox accounts.
NOTE: You can also invite a user to authorize their Dropbox account. More instructions are here: IT admin: How to invite a user to join your cloudHQ domain
Prerequisites
This guide assumes you have valid login credentials for two different Dropbox accounts, for example admin@company1.com and admin@company2.com.
If you do not have login credentials, invite a user who has credentials to your team and ask them to authorize Dropbox. For step-by-step instructions, see: IT admin: How to invite a user to join your cloudHQ domain
Let’s add two Dropbox accounts to cloudHQ.
Setup Steps
Here is the procedure:
- Go to the Cloud Accounts tab.
- Open a new browser tab.
- In the new tab, log in to the first Dropbox account:

- Return to the cloudHQ browser tab and go to the Cloud Accounts tab.
- Click the Dropbox icon (under “Add Cloud Accounts Manually”):

- You will be redirected to Dropbox to authorize your first Dropbox account with cloudHQ:


- You will then be redirected back to the cloudHQ Cloud Accounts tab. You should see your first Dropbox account in the list of authorized services:

- Open a new browser tab.
- In the new tab, log out of your first Dropbox account, then log in to your second Dropbox account:

- Return to the cloudHQ browser tab and click the Cloud Accounts tab.
- Click the Dropbox icon (under “Add Cloud Accounts Manually”):

- You will be redirected to Dropbox to authorize your second Dropbox account with cloudHQ:


- You will be redirected back to the Cloud Accounts tab. You should now see both Dropbox accounts in the list of authorized services:
