With the Gmail Free Online Polls & Surveys by cloudHQ Chrome extension, you can insert one or more poll questions directly into a Gmail message. Each question appears as its own poll block.
Step 1: Start a new email
- Open Gmail and click Compose to create a new message.
Step 2: Open the poll wizard
- Look at the bottom toolbar of the compose window (next to icons).
- Click the Poll icon added by the extension (it appears in that lower toolbar). This opens the poll wizard.
Step 3: Insert your first question
- In the wizard, enter your question.
- Select an answer format (e.g., Star rating, Yes/No, or Multiple choice).
- Click Insert poll. A poll block is placed in your email draft.
Step 4: Add another question
- To add more questions, click the Poll icon in the lower toolbar again.
- Choose Create new poll to make a new question, or select one from Recent polls if available.
- Click Insert poll to place the next poll block in the same email.
Step 5: Repeat as needed
- Repeat Step 4 for each additional question. Each one appears as a separate poll block.
Step 6: Send your email
- Finish your message and click Send. Recipients can respond directly from the email.
