    Is the *|FIRST_NAME|* merge tag always replaced?

    When the campaign sends, all merge tags are replaced before the email goes out. Every recipient sees their own values. Merge tag values come from:

    1. A spreadsheet or CSV loaded when you create the campaign (each column becomes a merge tag)
    2. Google Contacts
