Welcome to Document Parser by cloudHQ. Here’s a helpful guide to get you started.
You can get started right away by either uploading your documents or forwarding your emails. Let’s take a look in this step-by-step guide:
Create your unique mailbox ID
The first step is to set up a unique mailbox ID. This is a parsing job definition where you define:
- what you want to extract from documents (like invoice ID, amount, etc.)
- a unique mailbox ID to which you can forward emails or documents for parsing
Let’s get started:
- Open the Document Parser dashboard. The direct link is: https://www.cloudhq.net/doc_parser
- Click + Create Mailbox to begin.
- For parsing, you can upload documents or forward your emails.
Uploading documents to parse
Let’s start by uploading your documents. Follow this guide:
- Drag and drop your files or click to choose them in the Drop your documents here or select files box to upload.
- Our system processes the document and suggests what to extract. This usually takes a few minutes depending on your document size. You can instruct our system to extract items like Invoice ID, Amount, etc.
- Download your spreadsheet after the parsing is finished.
Forwarding emails and attachments to parse
After choosing what information to extract and testing it by uploading documents, forward your emails.
