Introduction

With cloudHQ’s Forwarded Email Importer, you can easily import .eml (forwarded email) attachments directly into your Gmail inbox. With one click, you turn forwarded emails from attachments into normal emails in your inbox. This way, you don’t have to look through attachments or lose important information.

For example, when someone forwards you multiple emails as attachments, you get them as .eml files. But how do you search for these emails? How can you print them? How to organize them?

Use Case

Forwarded Email Importer functionality is useful in various scenarios:

  • Law firms: When you get forwarded emails from your client, you can import these emails into your Gmail account. After importing, you can review and print the emails in their original format. This makes it easy to check and organize messages related to your case.
  • Migrating emails: While Gmail’s native interface doesn’t support forwarding large volumes of emails at once, small batches can still be forwarded manually. This app streamlines that process by allowing you to upload and import these forwarded emails directly into your Gmail account with ease.
  • Handing over project-related emails to your colleague: If you are working on a project with your colleague and need to share important client emails, you can forward these emails as .eml files. Your colleague can then use the Forwarded Email Importer to import these emails into their Gmail account. After import, the emails are labeled automatically. Your colleague can reply to these emails, search for them, and organize them as if the emails were sent directly to them. This way, your colleague will see the emails as regular messages in their inbox, making it easier for everyone to work together, respond, search, and manage project emails.
