Trust is the foundation of our relationship with millions of people and businesses around the world. We value the confidence you’ve put in us and take the responsibility of protecting your information seriously.
cloudHQ places the utmost importance on data protection and has a track record of staying ahead of the compliance curve.
cloudHQ’s Legal, Trust and Privacy teams have carefully analyzed the GDPR and already undertook the necessary steps to ensure that we comply.
cloudHQ already meets the requirements of the GDPR on Mar 27, 2018.
The GDPR brings with it a shift in mindset for many companies but that is not the case for cloudHQ. The GDPR expressly introduces several principles such as the “accountability principle” and “privacy by design,” and encourages organizations to take more responsibility for protecting the personal data they handle – which we were already doing from the very start of cloudHQ.
Protecting privacy is one key cloudHQ design issue: When we designed cloudHQ we had in protecting of your personal as the key design choices – not just review privacy implications after a product or process is developed. We conduct regular data protection impact assessments to meet the privacy by design principle.
User rights: The GDPR expands the existing set of user rights and creates several entirely new rights – and these rights are something we consider very natural and reasonable requirements.
Real time and detail breach notification rules: Under the GDPR, organizations are required to have a strong breach notification system in place and understand their specific reporting obligations. And cloudHQ already has these rules in place.
Accountability: cloudHQ has a clear internal privacy governance structure with necessary accountability.
