How to create Gmail filter with multiple labels as a tab?

If you wish to combine two or more Gmail labels, you should filter email messages using Gmail search.
In the Gmail search bar, enter the labels you want to merge using a certain label operator (“label:”) in combination with a logical disjunction (“OR”) operator or logical conjunction (“AND”) operator that match multiple labels.
For example,

  • If you need to find all email messages that have one of two labels, use the “OR” operator as follows: 
     (label:CLIENTS) OR (label:AGENTS)
  • If you need to find all email messages that have both labels, use the “AND” operator as follows: 
     (label:CLIENTS) AND (label:AGENTS)
  • Do not forget to click the “Add to Tabs” icon in your Gmail, that your search will be saved as a tab.
